staying here was wonderful, especially with the quick walk to Gora Park and the fine Hakone Museum of Art just around the corner, both perfect spots for leisurely strolls and soaking in the nature and culture of the area.

Staying at Gora Onsen Hotel Kasansui had unique merits. The spacious twin room offered comfort with clean linens and a beautiful yukata provided for our stay. Dinner and breakfast were highlights, with a variety of delicious, traditional dishes that sparkled in flavor. The onsen experience, although small, felt private and cozy, especially since we often had it to ourselves. One big drawback was the dated furniture. The carpet on the stairs was stained, and the lighting in the room left much to be desired. The hillside location made the walk to the station challenging, especially after a long day. Despite these inconveniences, the cozy atmosphere and good meals were good.

Huge and spacious units with the big bedroom, and the staff were incredibly helpful. This was an unbeatable location next to the train station, public transport and the Ryoka and the nearest shop. Easily reached Gyoza Center, located not very far from the hotel, had lunch/dinner there.

Nothing, all great.

Dinner and breakfast were a feast of flavors, especially the freshly made sandwiches that had my taste buds dancing! Plus, the onsen provided a hot, blissful respite after a day's adventures.

Convenient and absolutely perfect location with great view of the mountains. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, awesome bathroom. Free parking on site provided. Everything very good.

Kaiseki dinner was a highlight of our stay. The genuine hospitality from the staff enhanced the experience, and I appreciated the shuttle service to the station. The walk back uphill in the rain was quite challenging.

Too bad the onsen tub was broken and filthy. The rundown furniture was so bad I refused to touch it. I expected a complimentary room upgrade for this disaster but they just shrugged. Honestly, I almost wrote a good review but just couldn't. Disappointing!

The hospitality of the staff stood out . The dining experience was really good, with beautifully presented and delicious meals that catered to our dietary needs. The large traditional twin room had ample space, a lovely view of the surrounding nature, and a charming seating area. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful onsen experience that, while small, felt cozy and private.

We enjoyed a marvelous kaiseki dinner that even accommodated dietary restrictions! The onsen was relaxing, though the firmness of the bed took some getting used to. I'd definitely stay here again!
